David Heatley is a cartoonist who lives in Queens with his wife, the writer Rebecca Gopoian, and his daughter Maya. He publishes a series called Deadpan, which is available from Fantagraphics or at davidheatley.com. His comics have appeared in The New York Times, McSweeney's 13, Kramer's Ergot 4 and 5, and will be in the upcoming anthology MOME. A collection of his autobiographical comics will be put out by St. Martin's Press some time between 2006 and 2007.
