CREATIVE COMICS: A NEW WAY OF STORYTELLING
Fridays, 4:30-5:30pm
September 13-December 11, 2004
Creative Arts Studio
310 Atlantic Avenue Brooklyn NY 11201

ATTENTION BROOKLYN PARENTS! Creative Arts Studio, in association with MoCCA, is offering a great new course for kids in Downtown Brooklyn, emphasizing the writing and storytelling side of making comics. MoCCA staff and artists will appear as guest speakers!

Click here for full event info and registration

People have been using pictures to tell stories as long as there have been people with stories to tell. When and how do words get involved? How can these words and pictures create a new way of storytelling? Creative Comics uses the full diversity of comic art, from political cartoons to manga, as inspiration for the writer to find a new way of telling his or her own tales. For artists and writers of all levels!

To register for this class, call Creative Arts at (718) 797-5600 or follow this link!
